On Friday, we began decorating for William and Jessica's engagement party at Conecuh Station. William is my first cousin and will be getting married August 1, 2009!! Emily, Mom, Ms. Cindy, and I decorated the Field House with burlap, votive candles, floating candles with pink and green flower petals, and tealight candles. It had a very rustic feel to it. The party began Saturday at 7:00 and some people didn't show up until
8:00
. For dinner we had B-B-Q, potato salad (that I didn't eat!!), cole slaw, baked beans (the more you eat them the more you know what!), and a wonderful sour cream pound cake with cream cheese icing made by Mrs. Vicki Kyser.
The Common Ground Band played and we had so much fun dancing! Tripp has lots of practice for his graduation dance/party!
